Sign up for the 13 mile run though the beautiful San Jan Mountains. The start and finish of the race is in Fellin Park. There are three aid stations along the course. Learn more about this run through the mountains and experience the charms of our town.

The City of Ouray Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a family-friendly event at Fellin Park on Friday, August 9 at 3:30PM. Join for pulled pork, kickball, sun, and fun.

At a July Special Meeting, the Ouray Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the purchase of a home in the Waterview Homes Ouray development.

The gym floors were refinished last week, and they will be cured and ready for action next week. Special thanks to Tom Tyler and his team for pouring some love on our beloved basketball court.

All students in grades 5-8 are welcome to attend camp, but only students in grades 6-8 are eligible for the team. The cost ($100) includes two days of camp, a team t-shirt, and lunch on the second day. Complete the waiver and make checks payable to Ouray School. Please contact Coach Coyer if you need financial assistance.

On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the Ouray County Sheriff’s Office, Ouray Police Department and Ridgway Marshal’s Office will join residents, visitors, and community leaders of Ouray County, to celebrate National Night Out. This annual community-building campaign promotes police-community partnerships and community camaraderie.

Ouray School hosts the 2nd Annual Trail Running Film Festival as Ouray kicks off festivities for th Hardrock Hundred Endurance Run. Event in the APAC starts at 5:30 PM with doors opening at 5:00 PM. There is no cost, but registration from this link is recommended.
