Ouray School App
Ouray School has just launched a new mobile app to connect all school community members. It will be a closed community of users including staff, parents, and secondary students.
To get started….
- Get the App. lt all starts by installing the Ouray School app from your phone’s marketplace. Use the link below.
- Reset Your Password. Parents will receive an email with the subject “Ouray School District Password Reset” from Edlio ([email protected]) to the email that you have on file with the school. Follow the instructions to reset your password.
- Log into the App. Parents will log into the App with their email and the password that they created. Do not register yourself through the app.
What can the App do for you?
The purpose of the app is to put what you need at your fingertips and to keep you up-to-date with school activities.
- Events. The app will provide you with a weekly (Sundays at 5pm) and a daily digest (weekdays at 8am) of what’s going on at school. You can also see the full events list for school and athletics/activities.
- News. See website news content when it is posted. You can opt-in and opt-out of different categories of news to tailor the feed to what you want to know (see handout).
- Resources. The app puts resources at your fingertips. You have access to the academic calendar, lunch menus, athletics and activities forms, and school supply lists.
- Forms. We’ve gone electronic! You can now complete school field trip forms and prearranged absences right from your phone.
- Chats. The app provides the ability to communicate with individual staff, parents, students in athletics, and classes/groups. You can share images, documents, and links. The feature contains a powerful tool to end or close a conversation. Parents and students can only start conversations with district staff.
