A group of local stakeholders began meeting in the fall of 2023 to address the growing mental health concerns in Ouray County. In response to the recent headlines and tragedies in our community, this group has mobilized and planned a response to address the grief and trauma that the community is feeling at some level.
On March 9th, from 4-7pm we will be hosting a Mental Health Open House at the Ouray Community Center. We are inviting our local and regional partners who serve Ouray County to attend this event. We invite government, law enforcement, schools, businesses, non-profits, healthcare professionals, and community members to share your resources.
I am attaching posters in Spanish and English. Please share these with your appropriate contacts, the event is free and open to all community members. This is a potluck dinner.
