Revised Definition of "Fully Vaccinated" to include Booster

Staff and students are strongly recommended to get fully vaccinated, which now includes receiving the booster shot at the prescribed interval

• Moderna - 2-shot regiment and booster at 6 months
• Pfizer - 2-shot regiment and booster at 6 months
• Johnson and Johnson - 1-shot regiment and booster at 2 months

Ouray School will consider students fully vaccinated if they meet the dose recommendations available to that aged group. The booster is currently available for students at 16 and up. Many students who received their vaccine when it was first available to students age 16-18 are now eligible for the booster.

Consider getting vaccinated or getting the booster at the next available county mobile clinic on January 20.
