The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is supporting expanded opportunities for teens age 12 and older to have access to the COVID-19 Vaccine. This vaccine is a safe and effective measure against the virus, including the delta variant. Ouray School is hosting the event in partnership wiith Ouray County Public Health.
Facts regarding the teen vaccine clinic.
- The Pfizer vaccine is a two-dose mRNA vaccine.
- Students age 12 and up are eligbile
- Parents must be present at the time of vaccination.
- Students must wait 15 minutes after their dose (30 minutes for high risk individuals).
- 2nd Dose clinic will take place around September 20.
