2024-25 Food Service Assistant

Ouray School is looking for a full time food service support person. This role reports to the manager of food service and supports the food preparation, serving, and clean-up for the daily school lunch program. Primary duties include preparing the daily salad bar, support breakfast and lunch preparation and serving, an dishwashuing. Employees must follow district and state food handling safety regulations, be able to work harmoniously with other staff, and serve and interact with students and staff in positive, relational ways.

Work days: 174days aligned with the school academic calendar, 8 hrs a day
Hours: 6:30AM to 3:00PM, including two paid 15 minute breaks and 30 minute unpaid lunch
Pay Range: $18.70-23.00/hr
